Chickenpox is a highly contagious viral illness that causes an itchy rash. It is most common in children, but can also occur in adults. I often see this in my clinic in Springtime.
The rash usually starts on the chest, back, and stomach, and then spreads to the rest of the body. It starts as small red bumps that turn into blisters filled with fluid. The blisters eventually dry up and crust over. Chickenpox is usually mild, but can be more serious in people with weakened immune systems.
There are a number of different homeopathic remedies that can be used for chickenpox. The best remedy for you will depend on your individual symptoms.
