Help to Stop smoking

There are many, many reasons to quit smoking; improve your health, improve your bank balance (my jaw dropped at the weekend when someone told me it was up to over £12 per packet for cigarettes.  £12!), among others.
Once you stop smoking you reduce your risk of certain health conditions:
  • Erection problems (impotence).
  • Fertility problems.
  • Optic neuropathy - this is a condition affecting the nerve supplying the eye.
  • Cataracts.
  • Psoriasis.
  • Gum disease.
  • Tooth loss.
  • Osteoporosis.
But……this can be a difficult decision to make.  Even if you want to stop, it can be difficult to take that plunge.  There are many nicotine replacement options out there, but these are not without their side effects and occasionally a dependency develops on these also.

Homeopathy on the other hand is safe, gentle and effective and doesn’t cause any side effects or long-term damage.  The aim with homeopathic remedies is to restore you and your body to a place of balance as quickly and as gently as possibly.
There are a handful of remedies you can use to support you through this time and it would also be beneficial to see a homeopath to get a constitutional remedy to further support you through this transition. If you would like any more information on this just get in touch.  www.solashomeopathy.com/contact.html

Tabacum
Tabacum is made from tobacco. It helps for those that experience cold hands and feet, headaches in the morning, palpitations, dizziness, and hypertension. This remedy will also help you to detox the tobacco toxins from your system.

Nux Vomica
Nux vomica is appropriate when the person experiences irritability, depression, stress, insomnia, and anxiety.  They may also suffer headaches, nausea and constipation.

Plantago
Plantago will help create a dislike for tobacco. The person’s symptoms may include facial neuralgia, restlessness, irritability, depression, and insomnia from tobacco.

Lobelia Inflata
Useful if you are addicted to tobacco but can’t stand its smell.

This is just a snapshot of the remedies that can help you kick the habit.  There is plenty of help and support out there to help you through this journey.

As homeopathy treats each person individually what may work for one person may not work for another person,

That is why the remedies listed are a guide and proper constitutional treatment by your homeopathy is also recommended.

If you have questions about your specific situation please email and I can respond directly to you.

I found this article on homeopathy really interesting and informative. It's always great to explore alternative methods of healing and wellness. I appreciate the emphasis on the safety and gentleness of homeopathic remedies, as well as the absence of side effects or long-term damage. That's certainly a reassuring aspect when considering various healthcare options.
